Terms & Conditions

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ottawa Padel Community ("OPC", "we", "us"), a registered business in Ottawa, Ontario. When you create an account, register for a league or use this website, you are contracting with Ottawa Padel Community, and by continuing to use the service you agree to these terms.

The service

OPC runs recreational padel leagues at Padel & Friends in Orléans, Ottawa. A registration covers one player's spot in one league season: 8 regular-season games and 2 playoff games. Times, courts and schedules may change for reasons beyond our control.

Your account

You must be of legal age, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to register. Give accurate information (including name, gender and skill level), keep it up to date, and keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. That includes:

  • using it unlawfully or for fraud or spam;
  • infringing anyone's intellectual property;
  • interfering with its security, for example malware, probing or scraping;
  • knowingly reporting false scores, or harassing other players or venue staff.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Card payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Registrations can also be paid by Interac e-Transfer to OttawaPadelCommunity@gmail.com. See our Refund Policy.

Intellectual property

Ottawa Padel Community owns this website and its software, content and branding, including the OPC name and logo.

No guarantee

We work to keep the website running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is". Padel is a physical sport and you take part at your own risk.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access, or remove you from a league, for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of league conduct.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
